…or, what have YOU been foolin‘ around when you where nineteen years old?

Well, Raphael Schaub’s goal was to build his own car!

The basic frame was a 4-door Ford Model A Sedan with not much around worth to be restored. So most of what you’re seeing here is totally rebuild or heavily adapted,…by Raphael.

The much more than two thousand hours of working on this project guided him to a free interpretation of a three-windows-coupé which used to exist in 1931 as a prototype only.

all photographs by Franz J. Venzin

Established in Birrfeld 2001, which was easy to reach for everybody it grew fast and developed to one of the biggest Rock’n Roll, Hot Rod, Custom-, Classic Car and vintage Motorbike party in europe.

In 2008 the crew of  the ‚Crazy Eventik‘ had to move this event. A tricky thing to do but they found this spot in the Simmental, a former military airstrip in St. Stephan. This ‚end of the world‘ like place with it’s stunning backdrop turned over the years into a ‚Mekka‘ for Rockn‘ Roll and Custom Cars.
